As our trips are personalized, each trip has different terms and conditions, if you have any questions about the terms and conditions of your program, check with your travel advisor.


GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • The order of activities may vary to suit the conditions of the itinerary.
  • All expenses and management of passenger documentation (visas or passports) will be managed individually by each participant.
  • The courtesies will be granted according to the minimum number of people established in each quote, in case of not complying with the marked conditions, it will be eliminated or modified. The minimum and maximum number of people may vary according to the characteristics of each trip. the number of courtesies may vary for each program.
  • In case you want to add people to a program in untimely times, you must confirm with Ruta México to know the conditions of late inclusion to the program. The places can be transferable with prior notice and adhering to the conditions of Ruta México and of each program.
  • The type of transportation will be defined in each program.
  • The activities that are not included in the trip will be borne by the participant.
  • In the event that an embassy or migration department does NOT grant entry to their country to the program participant, the company will not make any refund to the passenger.
  • All material equipment or facilities of the companies involved in the service that is partially or totally damaged by the participant(s) voluntarily, carelessly or by not following the instructions of the staff will have to be paid 100% by the participant(s) and the cost will be determined by the affected company.
  • The company reserves the right to modify itineraries, change of included and even cancel activities for causes beyond our control, (weather factors, demonstrations, political problems, contingencies and / or others) in these cases if the occasion allows it, the Tour will take place that same day or will change for another similar or, if the conditions are adverse will be suspended without the possibility of reimbursement and without any responsibility for the company. When a delay or cancellation occurs, our goal will be to get you to your destination safely and as quickly as possible.
  • If the participant for reasons beyond the control of the company does not show up on the day of their activity or at the established time, and for this reason loses the flight or the route partially or totally. The company will not incur any additional expenses and there will be no reimbursement.
  • Ruta México and its affiliates claim to be as accurate as possible. However, Ruta México does not guarantee that product descriptions or other content are accurate, complete, up-to-date or have no errors. If a service offered is not as described, you will have to contact your travel advisor directly.
  • Ruta México assumes no responsibility for items lost on travel. Such as electronic equipment, photographic equipment, jewelry, cash, computer equipment or other items of similar value including identification documents.
  • Minors (under 18 years of age) traveling without the company of an adult can travel, as long as one of their parents, who exercises parental authority or who has guardianship over the minor, requests the school or college authorization.
  • The company will not be responsible for the loss, theft or damage that any of the objects in the suitcase of any passenger traveling in our programs may suffer.
  • If due to any negligence on the part of the participant, the participant requires medical services, he or she will have to cover the insurance deductible (in case of being insured with Ruta México).
  • Some trips are exempt from insurance for medical expenses, by prior agreement with the client.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE ACCOMMODATION

  • Prices according to the type of occupation. The type of room and occupancy on each trip may vary, so you must confirm this information with your travel advisor.
  • If you need to change the type of occupancy, an extra fee must be covered.
  • If you require any change in the type of occupation, you should review it from the beginning with the travel advisor.
  • The place of accommodation may vary according to the availability of accommodation in each program.

  • For theft, deterioration, breakage of furniture, clothing, equipment or facilities; the responsible client will be consigned to the competent authorities, and will be required to pay for the damage caused.
  • Staying at the hotel does not entitle the guest to invite other people to use the facilities.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF AIR TRANSPORTATION

  • Passengers must abide by the schedules and changes of the contracted airline.
  • The allocation of seats will be subject to their availability at the time of hiring the service, documenting or boarding the aircraft, an assignment that may be freely confirmed or modified by the airline.
  • The passenger must pay the extra charges if required in case of any modification to his itinerary.
  • If a flight is adversely affected by circumstances beyond our control, you will bear your own costs for accommodation, meals and incidental expenses.
  • If you are unable to locate your luggage upon arrival, you must inform a luggage service agent before leaving the airport.
  • Sometimes bad weather or other issues can make it difficult, if not impossible, to meet your schedule. When a delay or cancellation occurs, our goal will be to get you to your destination safely and as quickly as possible. There are no refunds of flight payment.

POLICIES AND PAYMENT METHODS

  • The forms of payment will be defined according to each program.
  • The trip must be covered in its entirety 2 weeks before the trip.
  • For international trips, prices are established according to the dollar price.
  • To block the date of issue, a 50% advance payment is required 60 days before the event and pay 100% of the total cost 7 days before the start of the trip.
  • The total of payment exhibits must be coordinated with the Ruta México travel advisor.
  • Payments must be made according to the payment schedule established by Ruta México.

  • In case of not paying on the agreed dates, an additional 15% of the total package will be charged.
  • Bank deposits and transfers only to the official bank account of the company.

CANCELLATION OF SERVICE

  • The first payment will be non-refundable to ensure the minimum number of people in each program.
  • Refundable payments in case of cancellation 3 months in advance in programs canceled due to causes beyond our control.
  • In the event that the number of participants does not meet to make a trip, the service will be canceled with reimbursement possibilities for previously registered participants.
  • In the event that the client cancels the trip and it includes air transportation, the client must cover the total payment for the flight.
